Fall Ball GYSBA
The Gretna Youth Softball & Baseball Association is proud to offer recreational tee-ball, baseball, and softball for kids of all ages. Our fall league is a developmental league giving kids the opportunity to play the game and prepare for our spring league.
First practice will be the week of August 24th.

What aged players are appropriate for this program?
BASEBALL: Each player will register for the level of play that reflects the player's age on May 1, 2027. Players may play up one level of play (one year of age), but may not play down. The 2027 season (which includes Fall '26) runs from August 11, 2026, through August 9, 2027.

When are practices and how often are they?
T-Ball, 6U, & 7U will have a practice/game (combined) per week on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday.
8U & up will have one practice per week on Tuesday.
Games
How many games will they play? What days of the week?
1 game per week for 8 weeks. Game day will be Thursday's.

DISCLAIMER:
In the fall we typically do not have as many registrations per age group. This could mean that we combine age groups (Example 10u & 12U or 12u & 14u) to allow everyone an opportunity to play this fall. The past couple of years we have only had enough for 2 teams, so we play more of a backyard pickup game. Coaches will divide the players into two teams each week while mixing the teams up each week.
