STORM SELECT SOFTBALL

The NE Storm Softball Program is built for athletes who are eager to elevate their game through advanced competition, focused skill development, and strong team culture. As part of the Gretna Youth Softball Baseball Association, NE Storm Softball provides players with the opportunity to compete at a higher level while growing their confidence, technique, and passion for softball.

Our program emphasizes fundamentals, game strategy, and player development through organized practices, experienced coaching, and competitive tournament play. We are committed to fostering sportsmanship, accountability, and teamwork, helping athletes succeed both on the field and in their everyday lives.

Storm Select is ideal for players who are motivated to challenge themselves, refine their skills, and be part of a competitive and supportive team environment. Tryouts are held annually, with team placement based on skill level, effort, and coachability.

The program is offered to players, 7U - 18U. The season runs from September to October and from April to June. We have a number of home fields located throughout Gretna. In the off-season, teams practice in the fall as well as indoors from January to March. Our indoor facility is in the heart of Gretna at the Gretna Training Camp.

What to bring:

• Glove, bat, helmet, face mask, and water bottle
• Tennis shoes, turf shoes, or molded cleats (no metal spikes)
• If your daughter is trying out for the catcher position (9U and 10U only), she will need to bring her own catcher’s gear
• A positive attitude and a strong work ethic!

If your daughter is no longer planning to attend, please let us know so we can update our list.
